Life through death … hope in despair …. a crucified savior.  Good Friday is full of paradox. on the outside one wonders what was good about it.  Creation was killing its creator.  God’s own son was scorned and rejected by us. On the outside it doesn’t look all that good. “But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.…”  That is the Good of Good Friday.  So come and join us, as we sing, read God’s word, and reflect on the greatness of what God has done for us in Christ.
